What values are practiced in your company?
Your Company
Culture
According to the OCAI (Organizational Culture Assessment Inventory) by Kim Cameron and Robert Quinn, which is based on the Competing Values Model (CVM) by Robert Quinn and John Rorbaugh, four types of organizations / company cultures can be distinguished:
You enjoy working together with other people and are personally committed. What you value about your company are the shared values and the trusting relationships with managers, employees, colleagues, customers and suppliers. Employees in your company are given targeted support. Managers often take on a mentoring role. The very friendly working atmosphere is characterized by loyalty and tradition, resulting in a kind of "family character". Decisions are communicated transparently and are often made by consensus.
You like to surround yourself with people who have a strong affinity for innovation and creativity. What you appreciate about your company is its dynamism and its willingness to take risks and tackle new things. Together with your colleagues, you want to actively tackle change. Your work environment is therefore characterized by a willingness to experiment, flexibility and visions of the future. Individual initiative and freedom are supported and encouraged by your company. You attach great importance to technological progress and want to exploit your ideas commercially, thereby successfully shaping the future. In doing so, you want to be among the leaders and first movers.
You tend to perform your activities systematically, practically and carefully. You have high expectations of the quality of your work. In your company you appreciate a high affinity for planning, efficient systems, clearly defined processes and responsibilities, formulated guidelines and compliance. Your company is held together by these formal rules and principles and guarantees stability, efficiency and continuity of products and services to customers, suppliers as well as employees.
You love aggressive competition and like to define yourself by the goals you have achieved, which you are willing to work hard to achieve. What you like about your company is the focus on goal achievement and the definition of clear key figures. You are driven by profits, achieving market leadership and increasing productivity. Reputation and success are values that dominate your company and align with yours. There is no room for losers here.
"A company thrives on the culture of its employees."
Eric Schmidt , CEO von Google.
